T. S. O. L., like any memorable punk band, has gone through its fair share of controversies. From frontman Jack Grisham’s addiction issues plaguing the earlier days of the band to a lineup that shifted several times throughout their career—especially during their run in the ’80s—The Sounds of Liberty’s legacy has endured through inner turmoil and band breakups. We should all be very grateful for that fact.
T. S. O. L. has assembled one of the more impressive discographies to emerge from the West Coast punk explosion. They continue to keep their legacy alive, with Grisham and fellow T. S. O. L. member Greg Kuehn collaborating on a film soundtrack as recently as 2023.
