BDO Dismisses Vlogger’s Claims of System Compromise and Insider Role
MANILA, Philippines — BDO has dismissed as “baseless” the claims made by vlogger Maria Jamila Cristiana Gonzales Berenguer, who alleged a system compromise and an insider role in unauthorized transactions.
In a statement released on Thursday, the bank clarified that Berenguer admitted during an interview with ABS-CBN that her mobile device had been in the hands of other people at some point.
BDO’s response aims to address and put to rest the allegations circulating regarding the security of their systems and internal personnel involvement.
