Players will choose to take on the role of either a disciple of light, navigating through a labyrinth, or a disciple of shadow, aiming to deceive the others.
After each battle, players vote to determine who they believe is the treacherous disciple of shadow. The outcome of this vote influences whether the next battle will be more favorable or more challenging. The dynamic between the disciples of light trying to uncover the traitor and the disciple of shadow striving to deceive others is central to how each subsequent battle unfolds.
According to a blog post, **Fire Emblem Shadows** is “free-to-start” and will be available in over 70 countries and regions, including the United States and Japan. Fans of the series will be able to download the game for free on **iOS and Android** devices when it launches this Friday.
