The Nashik Zilla Parishad (ZP) has introduced an innovative initiative to make government services more accessible to rural citizens. Under a new digital scheme called **Jansetu**, residents can now avail 22 different government services simply by using WhatsApp, eliminating the need to visit offices physically.
Launched under the guidance of Chief Executive Officer Omkar Pawar, Jansetu includes services from various departments such as Gram Panchayat, Women and Child Welfare, and Primary Education. Citizens can access these facilities in both Marathi and English, ensuring wider accessibility.
Through this platform, citizens can also file complaints directly to the concerned department heads and the ZP CEO, streamlining grievance redressal.

– Below Poverty Line (BPL) certificates

– Extracts from Gram Panchayat registers

– Changes related to caste and date of birth
– Retirement benefits
– Teacher transfers
– Medical expense claims up to Rs 2 lakh
