The four-month monsoon season came to an end on Tuesday, with the country recording eight percent more than normal rainfall, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The weather bureau chief stated that the country experienced a “very successful” monsoon season. However, the season was also marked by several disasters, including cloudbursts and landslides.
