MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines extended its winning streak to four games after edging out Far Eastern University with a close 69-66 victory in the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on Sunday at the Quadricentennial Pavilion.
Gani Stevens was instrumental in the Fighting Maroons’ triumph, finishing the game with 14 points and nine rebounds. He also nailed a crucial short-range shot that helped seal the win for his team.
