MILWAUKEE — Blake Snell delivered a masterful performance, allowing just one baserunner over eight shutout innings as the Los Angeles Dodgers edged the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 in the opening game of the National League Championship Series on Monday night.
The Dodgers’ bullpen faced a tense finish, but Blake Treinen came through in the clutch, striking out Brice Turang with the bases loaded to secure the victory.
Freddie Freeman contributed with a key hit, helping Los Angeles take the early lead in the series.
