I’m relieved to say the Lovense Lush Mini isn’t too mini. In an industry that sometimes thinks smaller is better—which can be true in some situations—when it comes to internal sex toys, there’s definitely such a thing as too small. I say this as someone who, to the best of my knowledge, has an average-size vagina.
Compared to the standard Lovense Lush 4, which has an internal egg (for G-spot stimulation) that’s 1.46 inches deep, the Lush Mini sizes down to 1.22 inches deep. It doesn’t sound or look too different in size—emphasis on *look*. As for the external arm, the one primarily focused on the clitoris, it is very much in proportion to the rest of the Mini. In other words, I liked what I saw.
### Comfortable Fit
With a few dabs of water-based lube on the internal arm—what Lovense calls the egg—I inserted the Lush Mini into my vagina. The external arm is extremely flexible, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well the device settled into place. I expected some finagling and wiggling, but I didn’t need to adjust it.
While not as outrageously comfortable as the Lovense Ferri Panty Vibrator I recently reviewed, the Mini is pretty comfortable for a dual stimulator.
As much as the Mini felt very comfortable and good inside, once I started exploring vibration modes, I began to worry about how secure the whole thing was. Based on the wiggling feeling I experienced, I had concerns. What if I used too much lube, got excessively wet during use, or sneezed? Would the Lush Mini fly out?
None of these things happened while I tried the Mini, but you can definitely feel the smaller size. It’s hard not to imagine it falling out on its own. This isn’t a tragedy—outdoor sexual adventures aren’t a must for me—but it’s important for internal products to feel secure and safe so I can relax and enjoy the experience.
### Vibration and Sensation
Although I find the greatest pleasure from clitoral stimulation, I do love a strong G-spot vibration—especially when the two work together. After all, you never know when a blended orgasm might happen.
The spectrum of intensities for the external arm is definitely enough for me. In fact, I didn’t need to click all the way up to the most powerful setting. However, the internal vibrations felt subpar. The intensity I experienced inside was likely linked to the smaller size of the egg. Despite it being just slightly smaller, it didn’t cover enough area against my G-spot, and I could tell.
### Solo or Couples Play
Like every Lovense Lush model, the Lush Mini is waterproof and boasts a long battery life. It takes only 40 minutes to fully charge, and you get close to four hours of playtime—depending on how high you crank the modes.
If things go south mid-romp, a quick seven-minute charge gives you another hour of use. I strongly feel all sex toys should include a fast-charging option like this.
The Mini is a fun toy for both solo and couples play. However, if you’re experienced with the Lovense Lush line or similar toys during partnered play, you may want to skip the Mini and opt for the larger Lush 4 (which costs about the same).
