Anyone trying to harm Salman Khan during the shooting of his upcoming film, *Battle of Galwan*, will find it hard to penetrate the three-tier security arrangement safeguarding the superstar. The security setup is described as impregnable and unbreakable.
A source close to the project revealed, “Salman travels nationally and internationally with his private security in-charge, Shera, along with a core team of 15 trained commandos. Beyond that, there is a third tier of security provided by the government. When they were shooting in Leh, the government extended security comparable to that given to the highest-ranking VVIP politicians.”
Currently shooting *Battle of Galwan* in Mumbai, Salman is provided with an elaborate security arrangement unlike any other actor in India has ever experienced.
The source added, “The entire cast and crew have to surrender their cell phones a mile away from the actual shooting location. This includes Salman himself and director Apoorva Lakhia, as any phone on location could potentially be used to track Salman’s whereabouts. At the end of each day, every crew member’s phone undergoes thorough scrutiny to detect any suspicious activity.”
Access to the set is also tightly controlled. “Guests who wish to visit Salman on the sets must have their Aadhaar cards scanned and approved well in advance,” the source explained.
When asked if it’s cumbersome to shoot amidst so many stringent security measures, the source responded, “Not at all. Salman has learned to live with the security presence. Fifteen security guards are on the set with him at all times, but they are trained to be unobtrusive. Not once has director Apoorva Lakhia had to yell at them for interfering with the camera.”
*Battle of Galwan* promises to be a high-profile project, with safety and security taking top priority to ensure smooth filming.
