We had the opposite problem of this kind homeowner below — we had rats in our walls once. It was awful. We couldn’t sleep because we kept hearing them moving around behind the walls at night. Thankfully, that’s all behind us now, and honestly, we would trade rats scurrying for mysterious meowing inside the walls any day.
But even if meowing sounds cute, it’s still pawsitively concerning. Meowing from inside the walls usually means that something is stuck in there, and you’ll likely have to tear down at least part of the wall to get it out.
After two days of not knowing where the meowing was coming from, the tenant called a maintenance crew to check it out. They found a four-week-old kitten stuck back there but couldn’t get it out.
So, he took matters into his own paws! With the help of a few friends, he managed to rescue the cute kitty from the wall. Now, the little furball is safely being cared for and will soon get vaccinated, dewormed, and start living life to the fullest.
And believe it or not, it was all thanks to a hammer and some wet food!
