A man arrested after being accused of providing alcohol and drugs to underage individuals, as well as several sexual offenses, appeared in court recently.
The Southern Pines Police Department took 37-year-old Joshua Timothy-Lee Rayman into custody following reports that he had supplied a group of underage girls with alcohol and illegal drugs. It was also alleged that he assaulted at least one of the victims.
After further investigation, authorities charged Rayman with additional sexual offenses. He is currently facing several serious charges, including statutory sexual offense with a child, second-degree forcible sex offense, two counts of sexual battery, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Rayman is being held on a $250,000 bond. He is expected to appear back in court on Monday, November 10, at 9:30 a.m.
