Alix Earle broke down in tears after leaving “Dancing With the Stars” rehearsal with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
“Reality of the first two days of me learning a new dance HAHAH,” she captioned the post.
Earle, 24, and Chmerkovskiy, 45, are currently learning a routine to Billie Eilish‘s 2019 track “bury a friend” for Tuesday’s “Halloween Night” theme.
Fellow dancer Whitney Leavitt agreed with Earle’s candid post, writing, “Girl same 😭.” She added words of encouragement: “You’ve got this! 💗💕💖.” The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star’s message prompted a sweet response from Earle, who replied, “ily 😭.”
Leavitt’s “DWTS” partner and pro Mark Ballas also chimed in with a message of support, writing, “You’re amazing Alix & you got this 👊🏼.”
“Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel, who was eliminated from “DWTS” on October 21, echoed Earle’s sentiments. She shared, “Love you, Alix. I scream into a pillow every night for the first two days.”
Several other fans also gushed over Earle, telling her she was “doing amazing.” One wrote, “You got this, you’re crushing it 🙌,” while another added, “Queen. You are crushing it. Give yourself grace. So proud of you!!!!”
In May, Earle was announced as a Season 34 contestant and was later partnered with Chmerkovskiy, a three-time mirrorball champion. Shortly after the season premiered on September 16, the internet personality got candid about the brutal injuries she had sustained, including a missing toenail and a bruised collarbone.
“I thought Week 1 was hard, the stamina, the stuff we’re doing,” she shared, explaining that she was learning a jive to Lou Bega’s “Mambo No. 5.”
Earle admitted she was doubting herself “a little bit” but was determined to “keep trying,” even though she felt “like someone put [her] in a drying machine and just bruised and beat up every part of [her] body.”
The “Hot Mess” podcaster also revealed that her lifestyle has changed since the start of the show, including her ability to share everyday social media content.
