Head coach of the Nebraska Volleyball team, Dani Busboom Kelly, has finally broken her silence regarding the injury sustained by team member Taylor Landfair during the recent match against the Northwestern University Wildcats. The game took place at the Bob Devaney Sports Center and saw the Cornhuskers secure a 3-0 victory over the Wildcats.

In the post-match press conference, Coach Busboom Kelly spoke about her team’s overall performance and provided an update on Landfair’s condition. She reassured everyone, stating:

“No, I think it was just she landed on a foot and tweaked her ankle, but she didn’t even really seem to be limping at the end. So, I haven’t talked to her or the trainer, but it doesn’t seem to be anything worrisome.”

The 24-year-old outside hitter joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers for the 2024 season and has been instrumental in the team’s progression to the semifinals of the NCAA Championships.

Looking ahead, the Nebraska Volleyball team is set to face the Michigan State Spartans tonight, with the match also scheduled to be held at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

### Coach Dani Busboom Kelly Reflects on the Match Against Northwestern

During the press conference, Dani Busboom Kelly provided insight into the dynamics of the game against Northwestern University. She described the match as a series of ups and downs for both sides, noting that the pace was somewhat slow.

“I just felt like it was a little slow, you know, and so when you think about some of the plays we had that were really good, and it was slow because there were a lot of errors, I thought on both sides of the net,” Kelly said. “Neither team was stacking together great play after great play. It was kind of a good play, then a bad play, good play then a bad play, and I think that’s why it feels like the stats are better than maybe what you saw.”
