**How to Find and Use Field Depots in ARC Raiders**
Field Depots are valuable locations in ARC Raiders for several reasons. Beyond being essential for completing some early quests, they serve as fantastic and relatively quick sources of loot and in-raid supplies. This guide will help you locate Field Depots and make the most of them.

### Finding Field Depots on Dam Battlegrounds
The introductory Dam Battlegrounds map features several Field Depots scattered throughout the area. When searching for them, look for round, long, and ramshackle structures covered with a draped blue tarp. These depots are easy to spot thanks to an antenna tower rising from their roofs.
Keep in mind that Field Depots are rarely found inside major points of interest but are often situated nearby. Each depot has a yellow-painted ladder providing access to the radar tower on top, which can offer a useful high vantage point.

### Key Field Depot Locations
– **Southwestern Swamp:** One of the easiest Field Depots to locate is in the southwestern swamp, roughly 150 meters northeast of the South Swamp Outpost. It stands out as one of several similar-looking buildings due to its larger size and the radar tower on the roof.
– **Near Power Generation Complex:** If you spawn in the north near the Power Generation Complex, you’ll find another depot on the easternmost edge of the yellow border, about 200 meters northwest of the Pump House Hatch extraction point.

### What to Expect Inside Field Depots
Inside a Field Depot, you’ll find a small stash of loot. However, the real value comes from depositing Field Crates, which you can gather from nearby buildings, into the device located at the depot’s core. Doing this will unlock rewards such as ammo, medical supplies, grenades, and crafting materials.

### Helpful Tips
– Even if you can’t see a Field Depot from your current position, once you get within approximately 75 meters, its icon will automatically appear on your map, allowing you to set a waypoint and navigate directly to it. Be aware that the icon disappears if you move too far away.
– Using a Field Depot to open a Field Crate creates noise temporarily, which may attract enemies. Additionally, these buildings act as giant killboxes: there is usually only one exit, so if an enemy is blocking the other opening, you could be trapped. As with all challenges in ARC Raiders, weigh the risks and rewards carefully.
