CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago firefighters battled a building fire in the South Shore neighborhood on Saturday morning.
Firefighters responded to the fire at about 6:30 a.m. at 7558 S. Kingston Avenue, the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) said. ABC7 Chicago was at the scene as crews blocked the surrounding streets to get the fire under control.
A firefighter sustained a minor injury, according to the CFD. However, no major injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
