Tonight on The Stevetendo Show, we’re going old school with some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! It’s a Shacker’s Choice night, so you have Doggoism to thank for bringing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to the show this evening.
For those who don’t know, you can watch various Shacknews shows on Twitch and save up chat points. Once you’ve saved enough, you can spend them to pick a game for me to play on The Stevetendo Show. Doggoism has requested that I jump right into online races with no practice or warm-up — and that’s exactly what we’ll do.
Playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe without any practice could either go great or very poorly. I have a feeling it’s going to take some time to shake off all the skills I’ve developed in Mario Kart World now that we’re back to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
