**EXCLUSIVE: Axel Ellis Signs with Haven Entertainment Following Breakout Role in Prime Video’s The Runarounds**
Axel Ellis, one of the standout stars of Prime Video’s new YA music series *The Runarounds*, has officially signed with Haven Entertainment. The show, which follows a group of graduating high-school seniors in Wilmington, North Carolina, who form a rock band to chase stardom, marks Ellis’s screen acting debut.
Ellis plays Neil Crosby, the philosophical, pot-smoking guitarist and singer of The Runarounds—the real-life band at the heart of the series. The show recently wrapped up a 19-date sold-out tour following its September 1 release, alongside the launch of a companion soundtrack.
*The Runarounds* was created by Jonas Pate, co-creator of *Outer Banks*, and was built around the rock group, which Pate originally assembled for a performance on the hit Netflix action-adventure YA series. The series is currently awaiting a Season 2 renewal decision by Prime Video.
In addition to his acting career, Ellis continues to pursue music with his own band, Ax and the Hatchetmen. The group signed with Arista Records in November 2023 and released their debut full-length LP, *So Much To Tell You*, just two weeks ago. The Hatchetmen are currently on tour through the end of the year.
Following his commitment to Haven Entertainment—represented by Amy Slomovits and Mike Jezusko—Ellis is also represented for his music endeavors by Nate Reese of 7S Mgmt.
Stay tuned for more updates on Axel Ellis’s exciting journey in both music and acting.
