By all accounts, the relationship between Marvel Games and Insomniac Games has been going swimmingly. They are now three successful Spider-Man games into their partnership, with the highly anticipated Wolverine title just around the corner.
There’s little reason to believe their collaborations will stop after Wolverine. In fact, Marvel Games general manager Haluk Mentes made this abundantly clear.
Mentes recently spoke to Game Informer about the relationship between Marvel and Insomniac, and his remarks were glowing to say the least. Even this far into the partnership, while still working on Wolverine for its fall 2026 release, Haluk gushed over the strong bond Marvel and Insomniac have built.
Of course, it’s not just about Insomniac. Marvel Games has been branching out into a variety of projects, from the NetEase hero shooter *Marvel Rivals* to the Second Dinner digital card game *Marvel Snap*. They’ve even explored indie titles, such as the beat-‘em-up *Marvel Cosmic Invasion* by Dotemu and Tribute Games.
Mentes expressed pride in Marvel Games’ success in spreading its brand across diverse gaming genres and welcomes even further diversity from developers working with Marvel.
