The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set to take place this Saturday, November 8, in Los Angeles. This year’s event will welcome artists like Soundgarden, OutKast, The White Stripes, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, and more into the Cleveland institution.

While surprises are expected at Saturday’s event, some details have already been revealed. Roan will induct Cyndi Lauper, with Avril Lavigne joining the “True Colors” singer for a performance. Soundgarden’s induction will feature a supergroup performance including Seattle legends such as Heart’s Nancy Wilson, Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, and The Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen.

“We wanted to keep it as Seattle-centric as possible and include some people that were there with us in the beginning,” Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron told the Seattle Times.

Twenty One Pilots will take part in the tribute to The White Stripes; however, the duo will not reunite on stage as Meg White is not expected to attend the ceremony. Additionally, 2025 inductees Bad Company will not perform as singer Paul Rodgers is concerned about the stress on his health, though drummer Simon Kirke will take part in the Rock Hall performance.

Glover will induct fellow ATLiens OutKast into the Rock Hall, with Janelle Monáe and Killer Mike expected to join in the performance. David Letterman is also presumed to be in attendance to honor his friend, late singer-songwriter Warren Zevon, with the Musical Influence Award—an honor that will also be given to Salt-N-Pepa.

This year’s ceremony will additionally welcome Chubby Checker and Joe Cocker into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Keyboardist Nicky Hopkins, Wrecking Crew bassist Carol Kaye (who declined her invitation), and Philly soul songwriter-producer Thom Bell will receive the Musical Excellence Awards. Former Warner Bros. Records president Lenny Waronker is set to receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

Other artists and celebrities participating in the ceremony, though their specific roles have yet to be announced, include Bryan Adams, En Vogue, Feist, Flea, Iggy Pop, Questlove, Nathaniel Rateliff, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Mick Fleetwood, Lisa Coleman, The Go-Go’s Gina Schock, and Joe Perry.

“Each year the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony brings together the most influential artists in music today to honor their heroes who have inspired their music and careers,” said John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, in a statement. “These artists come from around the world to create lifetime musical moments that will live on forever.”
