Dead by Daylight has refreshed its gameplay with the relatively new 2v8 mode, which pits two killers against eight survivors. This mode is set to become even more exciting with the addition of a few fan-favorite characters to the roster.
From now until November 20, 2025, players can enjoy Pyramid Head from Silent Hill and Dracula from Castlevania in the 2v8 mode. Behaviour Interactive recently shared a new trailer detailing their inclusion as part of this temporary event. After the event concludes, the 2v8 mode will go offline for the time being.
Both Pyramid Head and Dracula are already featured in Dead by Daylight as DLC characters in the regular game. Pyramid Head first arrived in 2020 during the Silent Hill collaboration, which also introduced Heather Mason on the survivors’ side. Dracula joined later alongside Trevor Belmont in the Castlevania collaboration.
In terms of gameplay, Pyramid Head offers a control-style experience. He can trap paths with barbed wire and teleport caught survivors to coffin cages scattered throughout the map. Dracula, on the other hand, plays more aggressively, utilizing his various forms and magical abilities to relentlessly chase and hunt down survivors.
This new event in the 2v8 mode promises to add fresh excitement and variety to Dead by Daylight’s gameplay, allowing players to experience beloved characters in a unique multiplayer setting. Don’t miss out—jump into the action before the event ends this November!
