2 men shot, killed after armed robbery at business in Little Village, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Two men were shot and killed Saturday following an armed robbery at a business on the city’s Southwest Side.

The incident occurred around 5:49 p.m. in the 3800 block of West 26th Street in Little Village, Chicago police reported.

According to authorities, an armed offender entered the business and stole property. After exiting the premises, the suspect became involved in an altercation with two male victims, aged 63 and 25.

The suspect shot both men multiple times before fleeing southbound on Springfield Avenue in a white SUV, Chicago Police Department (CPD) said.

The victims were transported in critical condition to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. Their identities have not yet been released.

No arrests have been made at this time as the Chicago police continue to investigate the case.
