LAS VEGAS (AP) — Golden Knights center William Karlsson sustained an apparent injury at the end of the first period during Vegas’ game against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.
Karlsson was ruled out for the remainder of the game, according to the team’s radio broadcast. However, the exact nature of his injury remains unclear, as he did not leave the ice showing any noticeable ailment.
Earlier in the game, Karlsson set up the first goal with an outstanding behind-the-net pass to Brett Howden.
This season, Karlsson has recorded four goals and three assists. He previously enjoyed back-to-back 50-point seasons but managed 29 points in 53 games last year, having been sidelined twice due to injuries.
