Brandon Ingram’s frustration boiled over during Thursday’s game in Philadelphia, leading to an unfortunate incident involving a member of the Toronto Raptors’ staff. The former All-Star swingman slammed a water bottle in frustration following a foul call against Trendon Watford in the third quarter. Ingram appeared to be limping after the play, adding to his visible irritation.

The water bottle ricocheted off the floor and struck a Raptors staffer in the face, splashing water across the bench and even making contact with nearby teammates. Ingram sat in disgust as Raptors employees quickly scrambled to clean up the mess caused by the exploded bottle.

Although the moment did not result in any immediate penalty or ejection, the clip of the incident quickly went viral. The Raptors have not issued a formal statement, and there has been no indication of league discipline related to the event. While the NBA has yet to comment publicly, it typically reviews all incidents involving player conduct toward staff or officials, even if the actions appear unintentional.

On the court, Ingram finished the night with 21 points on 7-for-17 shooting, along with eight rebounds and five assists. Unfortunately for the Raptors, they lost to the 76ers 130-120, dropping to 5-5 on the season and ending their four-game winning streak.

Ex-New York Knicks players Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett led the Raptors in scoring during the loss, each putting up 22 points. The 76ers were once again paced by Tyrese Maxey, who led all scorers with 31 points and added seven assists.
