Ahead of the tour, Wilson Jr. will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on November 18. He will then take the stage at the 59th Annual CMA Awards on November 19, where he is nominated for New Artist of the Year. At the ceremony, Wilson Jr. will perform both solo and alongside fellow New Artist of the Year nominee Shaboozey in a special performance of “Took A Walk,” a song featured in the critically acclaimed 2025 film *The Long Walk*, based on the novel by Stephen King.
Wilson Jr. will close out November with his headline debut at the historic Ryman Auditorium, playing two sold-out shows on November 23 and 24.
It has been a busy and successful year for Wilson Jr., who released a deluxe edition of his widely lauded debut double album *søn of dad*. The deluxe edition features his moving rendition of “Stand By Me,” which has been streamed tens of millions of times and was featured in a primetime Pampers commercial. Additionally, he released the *Blankets* EP, consisting of covers from iconic bands such as Nirvana, Temple of the Dog, The Postal Service, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
Wilson Jr. also performed the National Anthem at this year’s NFL Draft and was named “one of country music’s most electrifying new artists” in Rolling Stone’s *Future of Music* print issue.
In between his headline shows, Wilson Jr. supported Eric Church during a three-night run at Red Rocks in July, made his Newport Folk Festival debut, and joined HARDY on his Jim Bob World Tour. Looking ahead, he will kick off 2026 with a performance at the Mile 0 Festival in Key West, followed by another series of shows with Eric Church in February. He will also perform at Railbird Music Festival and Under The Big Sky Festival next summer.
