In a recent interview with Thinking Crypto, Evernorth’s CEO emphasized that the $1 billion goal is only the beginning, not the finish line. The company plans to raise additional funds and expand into global markets where XRP already enjoys a strong following, particularly in Japan and South Korea.
Backed by Ripple, SBI Holdings, Arrington XRP Capital, and other major investors, Evernorth aims to leverage these partnerships to strengthen XRP’s presence in Asia and beyond. The collaboration with SBI, in particular, has the potential to unlock new opportunities for XRP’s integration into the region’s financial networks.
According to Asheesh Birla, the long-term success of crypto depends on widespread institutional participation. Evernorth intends to simplify the process for large investors and corporations to access and hold XRP, contributing to what Birla calls the “adult movement” in digital assets.
