Greg Kearney has worked as an editorial cartoonist for over 40 years. He describes himself as “a traditional labor Democrat,” reflecting his long-standing commitment to labor and political issues through his art.
His cartoons have appeared in a wide range of publications, from the Journal of the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union to People’s World, showcasing the diversity of his audience and the broad appeal of his work.
Kearney believes that the essence of editorial cartooning is to provoke thought and discussion. As he puts it, “You may not always agree with my views but that is the whole point of editorial cartooning.”
He is also a member of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, connecting him with a community of professionals dedicated to this unique form of political expression.
