Scrappy Needs Mushrooms: A Guide to Finding Them

If you’ve been helping Scrappy gather resources, you might have noticed a recent change in his needs. While he used to be after fruit and cacti, now he’s in need of Mushrooms. Finding these fungi can be a bit of a challenge, so get ready to spend some time spelunking through swamps. Mushrooms aren’t the easiest items to come across, but with a little know-how, you’ll have them in no time.

Where to Find Mushrooms

Mushrooms can be found in any area marked with the Nature icon — a simple green leaf. They are most common in the Dam Battlegrounds, particularly in the western swamp region surrounding the Hydroponic Dome Complex.

For the best results, try searching during a Lush Blooms event, which temporarily increases the amount of Nature loot available, including Mushrooms.

Locations to Check

– On Trees
– Inside Tree Stumps
– Within the Hydroponic Dome Complex

What to Look For

You’re specifically looking for a white cluster of fungi. While some trees appear to be covered in Mushrooms, not all of these can be harvested. Your best strategy is to run close to every tree you see and watch carefully for the white circle icon that pops up, indicating a nearby harvest point.

Inside the Hydroponic Dome Complex, your focus should be on the water-filled area within the large structure. Mushrooms often grow around the edges of this water. Additionally, you may find them growing inside the canister-like structures that line the walls.

A Quick Tip

It’s important to note that Mushrooms are rarely found inside containers. So, there’s no need to make noise by breaching or opening containers unnecessarily — focus your search on natural growth spots instead.

With patience and attention to detail, you’ll soon gather enough Mushrooms to keep Scrappy happy. Happy hunting!
