**Surveillance Video Shows Titans’ L’Jarius Sneed Driving Lamborghini Minutes Before Dealership Shooting Allegation**
A surveillance video obtained by The Associated Press has emerged showing Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed driving a rented Lamborghini Urus just minutes before two men allege they were shot at from that same vehicle on December 6, 2024.
According to the AP, the video depicts Sneed getting out of the Lamborghini and walking with crutches past the two men, Christian Nshimiyimana and Avi Ahmed, and up the stairs of a Carrollton, Texas, car dealership at 3:22 p.m. Just one minute later, Sneed is seen walking back out. The Titans cornerback, who was on injured reserve at the time, had recently been sidelined with a quad injury.
Another video shows Sneed at a gas station at the same time as Nshimiyimana and Ahmed. Sneed is seen walking inside, making a purchase at the register, and walking back out to his car while the two men were inside the station. Minutes later, the men allege they were shot at while inside a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon at the dealership.
Surveillance footage captures a vehicle driving past the dealership with four apparent gunshots heard and an arm hanging out of the passenger side window at 3:42 p.m. The car then speeds away. The shots did not hit anyone, but there was damage reported to a building and the Mercedes-Benz.
According to a probable cause affidavit from the Carrollton Police Department, a dealership employee identified Sneed as one of the individuals involved. Detectives also confirmed Sneed’s identity using local surveillance video.
“It was apparent that Sneed was the only person they had seen getting out of and into the driver seat of the Lamborghini. He also was the last person seen getting into the driver seat at the RaceTrac (gas station) approximately eight minutes before the shooting,” the affidavit stated. “Combined with the rapid acceleration away from the scene proved that Sneed knew what he was doing when assisted the shooter in fleeing the scene.”
Sneed was indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday in Dallas County, Texas, on a misdemeanor charge of failure to report a felony. The Tennessean obtained the indictment, which reads:
> “Sneed, after having observed the commission of felony under circumstances in which reasonable person would have believed that an offense had been committed in which serious bodily injury or death may have resulted, namely AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, intentionally and knowingly fail to immediately report the commission of the offense to peace officer or law enforcement agency, and reasonable person would have believed that the commission of the offense had not been reported, and the person could have immediately reported the commission of the offense without placing himself in danger of suffering serious bodily injury or death.”
Failure to report a felony is classified as a Class A misdemeanor in Texas, carrying a possible penalty of up to one year in jail and/or a fine of up to $4,000.
Sneed, who remains on the Titans’ injured reserve list, has not yet been disciplined by the team or the NFL. In a statement, the Titans said:
“We are aware of the legal matter with L’Jarius Sneed and have remained in contact with NFL security per league protocol. We will have no further comment during an ongoing investigation.”
Additionally, ESPN reports that Nshimiyimana has filed a lawsuit against Sneed and Tekonzae Williams, seeking at least $1 million in damages related to the incident.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned for more updates as details become available.
