Fordham wins 96-62 against Division-III Manhattanville

NEW YORK (AP) — Marcus Greene scored 19 points as Fordham defeated Division III Manhattanville 96-62 on Sunday.

Greene went 6 of 11 from the field, including 5 for 8 from 3-point range, leading the Rams to improve to 3-2 on the season. Rikus Schulte added 18 points while shooting an efficient 8 of 10 from the field and contributed eight rebounds. Meanwhile, Abass Bodija was perfect from the floor, going 6 of 6 to finish with 15 points.

For the Valiants, Chris Robinson led the team with 17 points, five assists, and four steals. Andrew Saint-Louis added eight points, and John Ranaghan chipped in seven.

Fordham took control early, securing the lead just over two minutes into the game. By halftime, the Rams held a 37-24 advantage, fueled by Schulte’s 10 points in the first half.

In the second half, Fordham pulled away with a decisive 14-0 run, extending their lead from 24 points to 38 points. The Rams outscored Manhattanville by 21 points in the final half, with Greene leading the charge by scoring a team-high 12 points after the break.
