Battlefield 6’s first season is upon us, and Battlefield Studios shared a grand slew of details about the content and events and carrying players through the end of 2025. Of course, Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios also want to get as many people in on the party as possible as it kicks off, so Battlefield 6 is getting a free trial that will run through the end of November. Battlefield Studios and EA shared the details of the free trial alongside Season 1 California Resistance’s update release today. From November 25 to December 2, 2025, players that don’t own Battlefield 6 will be able to download the main game on their platform of choice (PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) and engage in a limited set of five game modes and three maps from the main game. It’s worth noting that even though the Battlefield 6 free trial comes at the end of November, the Season 1 contents are out today, including the new Eastwood map, the Sabotage game mode, and much more. New gear like the DB-12 shotgun, the M357 Trait sidearm, and Slim Handstop attachment also come to Battlefield 6 and Redsec. Redsec is the free-to-play battle royale mode that just launched, and players can also download and jump into that at any point.
