Flaming Meteor is a powerful DPS Mystic Art in Where Winds Meet, that you can unlock pretty early, depending on how thoroughly you explore the Qinghe region. You do have to complete a particular Campaign area first, and then return to actually fight the campaign boss to get this power. It will take some time, likely a few attempts, due to the nature of the unlock, but it’s truthfully not that hard to do. If you are still working on your parry skills however, or you want it to be as easy as possible, we recommend unlocking Flaming Meteor with the Story Mode option to get the parry assist. That’s entirely up to you, but here’s everything you need to know about this incredible Mystic Art. Unlocking Flaming Meteor Mystic Art in Where Winds Meet In order to unlock Flaming Meteor in Where Winds Meet, you must complete the campaign quest Bodhi Sea and defeat Ye Wenshan. Then, you just need to come back to the Campaign version of the fight (Wandering Paths in the menu), and select the Ye Wenshan re-fight. Teleport back to the Bodhi Sea, interact with the drum, and get ready to fight this boss again. However, it’s not quite as simple as defeating Ye Wenshan. When you interact with the drum, you’ll see Flaming Meteor Familiarity: 0%, before you teleport to the fight itself. As you Deflect (Perfect Parry) specific attacks this boss uses, you’ll build a meter that sits next to his health bar. Just look for the Eyeball Icon. In Phase 1 of the fight, you can parry the attack where his weapons glow red and he dives onto you. If you perfect parry this, the meter will increase. You can also Perfect Parry specific attacks in Phase 2. When he clanks his weapons together and smashes them down, you can Perfect Parry this, and when he spins his blade, and it glows red before diving at you. In theory, you could do this in one fight, but it would require a great deal of patience, and not taking damage. Or at least, having enough healing items to see it through. Once you’ve Perfect Parried enough of the attacks, and defeat Ye Wenshan, you’ll unlock Flaming Meteor in Where Winds Meet. The skill is granted when you win, so make sure you take him down afterwards. In summation, Perfect Parry the attacks below, also shown in the video above: Phase 1 attack to Perfect Parry Diving attack Phase 2 attacks to Perfect Parry When he clanks his weapons together and they glow red When he spins his blade, it glows red, and he dives at you.
