We don’t know how many times we have said this before, but one of our dreams, as the cat people that we are, is to get to experience other cats big cats. Big cats are just like house cats, everyone knows that. And yet, unfortunately, we can’t actually treat them like house cats. We can try, but that will probably end up with us getting on the news for all the wrong reasons. And we can be jealous of all those people online who have dedicated their whole lives to living this dream, like the man who became part of a lion pride or the other guy who raised a cheetah cub who still recognizes him as a friend years and years later. But all of those things are either unrealistic for us or dangerous. What we possibly could do is what the person in this story did. Rehabilitating a rescued bobcat, one who needed a temporary home, a place to be safe and happy until he’s capable of being released back into the wild. Now, that is something that we would love to do.
