Suda51’s Grasshopper Manufacture has been working hard on its next title, Romeo is a Dead Man, before and since the game was announced earlier this year, and next week we’ll finally get to learn more about it. The developer announced that next week it will be doing a special Grasshopper Direct presentation, during which it will share more gameplay and other details about the upcoming action game. Grasshopper Manufacture announced the details of its upcoming Direct presentation on social media this week. On December 4, 2025 at 5 p. m. PT / 8 p. m. ET, the group will go live on its YouTube channel to share the latest updates on Romeo is a Dead Man. Given that we currently only know that the game comes out on PS5 sometimes in 2026, it’s possible we could get a new release window, or even concrete date. Romeo is a Dead Man was announced earlier this year at PlayStation’s June 2025 State of Play. The game looks like a 3D action hack-and-slash not unlike Grasshopper’s No More Heroes series. Only this time, we’re taking on the role of a character who appears to be a Sentai or Power Rangers-like hero fighting undead monsters and mutants. It also seems to be going for No More Heroes’ off-color humor and attitude in the vibe of its characters.
