With a new year around the corner for Pokemon GO, Niantic is already making plans for one of its biggest annual events. It’s time, once again, to plan for Pokemon GO Tour. This time, Niantic’s mobile hit will honor Pokemon X/Y with Pokemon GO Tour: Kalos. The event will be held in two real-world locations, which includes a return to the Rose Bowl in Southern California. Pokemon GO Tour: Kalos will take place from February 20-22 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA and at Tainan Metropolitan Park in Tainan, Taiwan. The 2026 event will continue the celebration of the X/Y generation that also featured the release of Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Expect to see the debuts of new Shiny Pokemon, including the first appearances of Shiny Diancie, Shiny Klefki, Shiny Hawlucha, Shiny Honedge. Those looking to take part in the Global weekend can purchase a ticket for Masterwork Research, which will help lead to this Shiny Pokemon. There’s no expiration date, so anybody who picks up this set of objectives can complete them at any time. The biggest Pokemon for this year’s GO Tour are the faces of X/Y. Both Xerneas and Yveltal can be caught in Five-Star Raids with Shiny variants available for each of them. Players can also find Pikachu wearing the hats of Calem and Serena, the main protagonists of Pokemon X/Y. Those present at the physical GO Tour events with tickets will have Timed Research for catching Furfrou with the option for some new trims. Tickets will sell for $30 USD, but early bird buyers can pick them up for $25 before the end of the year.
