SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — After a quarter of a century, the president of Yaddo is stepping down.
Founded in 1900, Yaddo is a private nonprofit retreat for artists located in Saratoga Springs. Elaina Richardson announced her decision to step aside as president after 25 years of dedicated leadership.
A national search has now begun to find her replacement as Yaddo looks toward its future.
Since its founding, Yaddo has been a vital haven for artists across disciplines, supporting creativity and artistic development in a peaceful setting.
