Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion was struck by gunfire on Sunday afternoon while the singer and businesswoman was home, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and sources involved in the investigation.
The suspect, a 30-year-old woman, has been arrested, the LAPD confirmed. At this time, the motive behind the incident is not clear, and authorities continue to investigate.
Sources told ABC News that Rihanna was at home during the shooting; however, no one was injured. Multiple shots were fired at the residence, but none penetrated the interior of the home, only the exterior.
Several rounds did hit the outside of the property as well as a vehicle parked out front.
