MANILA, Philippines — Poland claimed the bronze medal in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship with a hard-fought victory over Czechia on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The final scoreline read 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21 in favor of Poland.
Coming off a tough straight-set defeat to defending champion Italy less than 24 hours earlier, the Polish team showed resilience and determination. Wilfred Leon led the charge, spearheading Poland’s comeback and securing the third-place finish.
