The festival commenced with an idol worship and lamp lighting ceremony, graced by Forest Minister Ganesh Naik, Belapur MLA Manda Mhatre, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde, Additional Commissioner Sunil Pawar, and City Engineer Shirish Ardavad.
