MANILA, Philippines—The Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) on Tuesday expressed alarm over what it described as a troubling use of media access as a form of censorship. This comes after the temporary revocation of Spin.ph’s credentials by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF).
In a strongly worded statement, the PSA condemned the September 23, 2025 decision of the PNVF, highlighting concerns over press freedom and the importance of transparent media coverage in sports.
