Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has criticized the BJP over the soaring gold prices, which have reached Rs 1.20 lakh per 10 grams.
He alleged that some leaders are converting black money into gold, contributing to the sharp rise in prices.
Akhilesh Yadav further stated that the increasing cost has made it difficult for poor people to afford even small gold or silver gifts.
He called the surge in gold prices a clear reflection of corruption and hoarding in the system.
