MANILA, Philippines — Our rice industry is currently in a midst of a crisis, with farmers experiencing unprecedented losses in their income. In light of this, the Department of Agriculture (DA) must provide full support for the implementation of safeguards aimed at protecting the livelihood of our rice farmers.
These measures will enable farmers to regain their ability to earn a sustainable income while continuing to produce the rice that is vital to our nation’s food security.
