Parker Livingstone injury update after Texas WR helped off field vs Florida

Texas football wide receiver Parker Livingstone had to be helped off the field during the Longhorns’ Week 6 road game against Florida after sustaining an apparent leg injury.

The injury occurred in the second quarter in Gainesville, right after Livingstone completed a 33-yard reception on a second-and-8 play. As he made the catch, he took a hard hit to his kneecap area from Florida defensive back Devin Moore, which caused him to immediately flip in the air.

Livingstone was assisted off the field by several Longhorns trainers and medical staff members, then returned to the bench limping and clearly in pain.

Before exiting the game, Livingstone had already made two significant catches, each for at least 14 yards, totaling 47 receiving yards—leading all Texas receivers at that point. Texas was trailing Florida 19-7 in the second quarter when the injury occurred.

As of now, there is no further update on the severity of Livingstone’s injury. This story is developing and will be updated as more information becomes available.
