How to Get Weapon XP Fast in Battlefield 6

You gain weapon XP from kills, assists, suppressions, and similar actions, so you’ll need plenty of those in a match to level your weapons quickly. To make things easier, consider farming bot servers, where you and a few other human players can station yourselves at the opposing team’s spawn and shred bots as they try to leave spawn.
To find a bot farm server in Battlefield 6:
- Go into the server browser and type “bot farm” into the filter menu.
- Make sure there are 11+ open slots available.
- Look for servers with a low human player count to minimize competition for XP.
- Choose smaller maps like Empire State or Siege of Cairo, with well-defined spawn and choke points for easy bot funneling.

Bot Farming Etiquette
When farming bots, it’s good to follow some unwritten etiquette rules to keep the experience pleasant for everyone:
- Don’t shoot other human players. You’ll recognize them because they take far more bullets to kill. If you start shooting a player by mistake, stop immediately.
- Stay near spawns, not the objectives. Playing the objective like in a normal match reduces the number of bots you can farm. Instead, position yourself near the enemy spawn or as close as possible and hold the line.
- Don’t hog choke points. If you see more than three or four other players farming bots at one choke point, consider moving to another spot.
- Resupply your teammates. If you’re playing as Support, throw down Supply Crates near your farming teammates so they don’t run out of ammo.
- Avoid vehicles. Everyone is there to farm bots with their weapons—not to engage in vehicle combat. Keep tanks, helicopters, and jets out of the farming areas.
Keep in mind that some players might be there to disrupt your farming—there’s little you can do besides switching servers. As long as you’re polite with teammates and enemy players, you can enjoy several hours grinding through thousands of bots, racking up an impressive amount of weapon XP.
How to Level Weapons Fast in Non-Bot Matches
Leveling weapons efficiently in standard matches can be less predictable since you only earn XP when you kill human enemies. However, you can maximize your progress by:
- Killing enemies on the objective: This rewards you with an additional 50 XP per kill.
- Saving or avenging teammates: Provides 25 extra XP.
- Damage assists: While unclear if they contribute to weapon XP, it logically makes sense that they do.
Holding down a power position behind cover near the objective is a solid strategy, especially when defending. This approach provides a steady stream of enemies to kill and consistent assist points to also level your account. You’ll need to relocate occasionally, as enemies will swarm once you start taking them out.
One final tip: don’t neglect using your Hardware XP Boosters. They’re a precious resource, so save them for weapons you want to level up early. Double XP is a huge advantage.
Final Thoughts
While bot farming is the most efficient way to level weapons quickly, it’s not the most exciting way to play Battlefield 6. I recommend playing actual matches when possible for a more engaging experience. However, if your goal is rapid weapon progression, bot farms are unmatched for grinding XP.
