For decades, Stan Lee was the king of comic conventions. Now, nearly seven years after his death at age 95, he will once again be a presence at L.A. Comic Con — this time as a hologram that uses AI to have conversations with fans.

Two things can be true about this:
1. It’s kind of gross. Like, *really* gross.
2. I have no doubts that if Stan Lee were still alive today, he’d be fully on board with this — which is also gross.

### Nothing But the Hotfix

The incomparable and incredible women of Frame Fatales have set a new record! They raised **$151,336** for the Malala Fund during last week’s Flame Fatales marathon — a new event record.

On top of this, **Games Done Quick** has now reached **1,000,000 total donations** over its entire lifetime. This is a humbling achievement. Don’t stop what you’re doing — keep reaching for the stars and raising money for these important causes.

**GDQ’s Hotfix** streams every week, and you can catch them all at the Games Done Quick Twitch account.

### This Week in Shaqnews

What? The segment’s called “This Week in Shaqnews.” It doesn’t always have to be about Shaquille O’Neal.
*IT’S STILL REAL TO ME, DAMMIT!*

Also, **AEW All Out** kicks off from Toronto tomorrow afternoon — don’t miss it!

### Tonight in Video Game Music

Once again, we turn to **OC ReMiX**, bringing you a rare mix from **Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze**.

That’s it for this week’s Evening Reading. Have a fantastic weekend, and happy gaming!
