Lights Up Productions is set to host its second annual walk around historic Water Street on Friday and Saturday. Tours begin at 6 p.m. at the Skowhegan Opera House, 225 Water St., and continue throughout the evening. The event is free, but donations are accepted. Voices of “Park Street Players”
Scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the Skowhegan Opera House, 225 Water St., Skowhegan, this historical event offers participants a chance to step behind the curtain for a living history walk that blends personal memories and local heritage. Three original “Park Street Players” will share their backstage stories and the creative energy that filled the Opera House during the 1980s and 1990s. Attendees can see vintage photos, learn about the building’s architecture and cultural role, and hear how these productions shaped the theater’s use and inspired Lights Up Productions’ vision for the future. This event is free.

Grave Secrets Cemetery Tour
Planned for 3 p.m. Sunday at Hallowell Village Cemetery, 29 Water St., Hallowell. Join the Lady in White for a stroll through the cemetery, where she’ll share history, explain gravestone symbolism and Victorian funeral practices, tell ghost stories, and more. The tour is intended for ages 13 and older. Cost is $25-$30.
Granite City Ghost Tours
Scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, as well as October 31 and November 1, in Hallowell. Join Hallowell’s Lady in White as she leads participants by lantern light through the streets of haunted and historic central Maine. Learn about the restless spirits who wander city streets at night and hear what local psychic mediums are “seeing” on these tours. Tickets cost $25-$30. Shadows in the Hall
Planned for 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 6-10 p.m. Friday at Johnson Hall Opera House, 280 Water St., Gardiner. Explore three floors of performance space featuring a series of eerie vignettes brought to life by over 30 actors. Characters whisper stories of the past or seem bound to the building itself — shadows of moments that never fully faded. This walkthrough experience lasts about 30 minutes, with secrets around every corner and stories hidden in every shadow. Tickets are $11.49 and must be purchased for a specific tour time slot. Trails of Terror
Open from 6-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Camp Tracy, 302 McGrath Pond Road, Oakland. This new haunted trail winds through the deep, shadowy paths of Camp Tracy. Over three spine-tingling nights, the Alfond Youth & Community Center camp is transformed into a Halloween adventure for all ages.
There are two trail options:
– A youth-friendly trail suitable for all ages, featuring festive treats, friendly costumed characters, music, games, and fall-themed activities to celebrate the season without scares.
– An adult haunted trail recommended for ages 13 and older, where the deeper trail awakens after dark with eerie fog, unsettling sounds, and spine-chilling surprises. Creatures of the night await around every corner.
Admission is $15 for ages 13 and older, $10 for children ages 4-12, and free for children under 4. Groups of four can attend for $40.
