It’s no secret that once a person adopts a cat, they start to become more and more cat-like as time passes. Suddenly, after a while of having a floofy feline friend inside your house, you find yourself wanting to nap with them. The weirder the napping position, the cattier it feels.
Then, quite unexplainably, you begin preferring snacks over actual food. Regular meals start tasting like simple brown pebbles to you. Before you know it, you’re overwhelmed by a burning desire to run around the house, scream at random furniture, and do parkour—all at 4 AM. Yes, the infamous zoomies have taken over you.
And that’s just the beginning of a cat parent becoming more cat-like.
However, there’s one thing cats don’t do but cat people do all the time. Even if you’re a Crazy Cat Lady with 30 cats, practically acting like an entire feral colony, this habit is reserved for humans only.
