On Wednesday, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals blocked an order issued by Judge Sarah Ellis that would have required Greg Bovino, a senior U.S. Border Patrol official, to attend daily check-ins.

The order was related to an immigration enforcement campaign in the Chicago area, which has resulted in more than 1,800 arrests. The campaign has also sparked allegations of excessive force.

This decision by the 7th Circuit Court is a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the enforcement actions.
