Building a Library Quest Walkthrough in Arc Raiders
The Building a Library quest in Arc Raiders is given by Apollo, who asks you to collect three different types of books from the Library. You can find this establishment on the northern side of the Buried City map. While the task might seem straightforward at first, it is actually quite challenging. Along your journey to the Library, you will encounter numerous Arcs. Since the Library is a popular hotspot, you may also face human enemies competing for the same loot.
About the Quest
After completing Lance’s Tea Party quest, you will receive the Building a Library quest from Apollo. This is a retrieval mission that will also grant you access to the Buried City Town Hall.

- Locate the Library in the City Center
- Find one Romance book
- Find one Detective book
- Find one Adventure book
Where to Find the Library
You can find the Library on the northern side of the Buried City map, near the Hospital and Parking Garage. Before you start the quest, it’s recommended to equip the Looting MK. 2 to access two Safe Pockets for storing the books efficiently. Make sure to also carry strong weapons like the Ferro, as the area is heavily guarded by Hornets and other Arc units, which can make the mission more difficult.
How to Find All the Books
Enter the Library through the ground-floor entrance and proceed straight ahead. You will find the first bookshelf highlighted in bright yellow. Interact with it to collect the Romance book.
Next, take the stairs to the upper floor. Be cautious, as there are Fireball units present here. On this upper level, look near the wall for another bookshelf similar to the first. Interact with it to grab the Detective book.
Finally, move to the end of the upper floor, close to the staircase, where you will find the last bookshelf. Interact with it to collect the Adventure book.
Completing the Quest
After gathering all three books, head to the nearby metro station located just beside the Library building, approximately 70 meters away. Exercise caution when entering the subway, as you may encounter Fireball Arcs.
Once in the underground area, call the metro and return to Speranza to complete the Building a Library quest.
