Who won what position in Somerset County, Pa., municipal elections

Voters in Somerset County went to the polls on November 4 to elect state and county judges, two local magisterial district judges, row office officials, treasurer, coroner, township supervisors, borough council members, and school board representatives.

According to poll workers, voters came to the polls in a slow, steady flow. A total of 20,180 ballots were cast, with 16,941 votes cast at the polls and 3,239 mail-in ballots, according to Somerset County Elections Department officials.

On November 4, Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt confirmed that Pennsylvania held another safe and secure election. “Thank you to the hundreds of county officials and the approximately 45,000 poll workers who staffed 9,163 polling places so their fellow Pennsylvanians could make their voices heard today,” Schmidt said. “Though Election Day falls only twice per year, most of these dedicated public servants work year-round to mitigate potential problems when it’s time for voters to choose their elected officials.”
