Sudan’s army has rejected a US proposal for a ceasefire, expressing its determination to continue the fight against rebel forces.
The rebels have seized control of much of the western half of the country, prompting the military to rally public support in response to the escalating conflict.
Despite international calls for a halt to the violence, the Sudanese army remains committed to restoring stability through continued military action.
